For full access to courses, you'll need to take a minute to create a new account for yourself on this website. Each of the individual courses may also have a one-time "enrollment key," which you won't need until later. 

Follow these steps to create your account:

  1. Select Create New Account below.
  2. Fill out the New Account form with your details.* In your account profile, be sure to scroll to the bottom to enter your residency training program, graduation year, and credentials. 
    • An email will be immediately sent to your email address.
  3. Read your email, and click on the web link it contains. 
    • Your account will be confirmed and you will be logged in.
  4. Now, select the course you would like to join.
  5. If you are prompted for an "enrollment key," use the key provided by your supervising physician or program coordinator. 
    • This will enroll you in the course.
  6. You can now access the full course. From now on, you will need only to enter your personal username and password in the from on this log-in page to access any course in which you have enrolled.

If you are having trouble with self-registration, you may be trying to use an unapproved email domain name (i.e., something other than or, for example). In that case, contact us at, and we will manually register you. (In your Account Profile, be sure to include your first name, last name, email address, training program, graduation year, and institution.)

Note that this online classroom is open only to trainees and faculty at Hurley Medical Center, Flint, Mich., and visiting residents who are rotating here. 

* We recommend that you use your Hurley log-in ID (or your home institution's ID) as your user name - but make sure it is all lower-case. For example, if your Hurley Outlook email username is John Smith, your Hurley username is likely To create your account in eGME, use "jsmith1" as your username (all lower-case). When prompted, make sure your password includes 8 characters and at least 1 lower-case alpha character, 1 upper-case alpha character, 1 number, and 1 symbol, such as a $, %, & or *.
